Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic reconstructions.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to determine optimal patient care pathways.
- Drive the integration of next-generation robotic surgical systems into daily operations.
- Mentor junior surgeons and clinical fellows to maintain the highest standards of surgical excellence.
- Oversee perioperative care quality assurance and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with research teams to advance clinical studies in cardiovascular health.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-residency surgical experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted cardiac surgery.
- Active medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Proven record of leadership in a high-volume academic or research-focused hospital.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to manage high-stress environments.
