Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including bypass, valve replacement, and aortic procedures.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team during high-stakes surgical interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement standardized surgical protocols to enhance departmental safety and efficiency.
- Conduct clinical consultations and develop comprehensive, patient-centered surgical treatment plans.
- Mentor surgical residents and fellows through hands-on training and didactic sessions.
- Collaborate with the research department on innovative cardiovascular studies and clinical trials.
- Maintain impeccable documentation and compliance with all hospital and regulatory health standards.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in a high-volume cardiovascular center.
- Proven track record of successful outcomes in complex cardiac procedures.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary medical teams.
