Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, valve replacement, and aortic surgery.
- Lead and mentor a team of surgical residents and fellows in the operating room.
- Develop and implement new clinical pathways to improve patient recovery outcomes.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and anesthesiologists to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and contribute to medical publications.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance in all surgical operations.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in high-volume cardiac centers.
- Demonstrated expertise in minimally invasive cardiac surgical techniques.
- Proven track record in team leadership and academic mentorship.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative patient care.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
