Responsibilities
- Perform high-complexity cardiac surgeries, including bypass, valve repair, and aortic procedures.
- Lead and mentor a team of associate surgeons, surgical residents, and nursing staff.
- Oversee preoperative assessment and postoperative recovery protocols to ensure clinical quality.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists to develop personalized treatment pathways for patients.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to institutional quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory healthcare standards and medical ethics.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Medical License in good standing in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in high-volume cardiac centers.
- Proven track record of successful outcomes in complex cardiac interventions.
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience in academic or teaching hospital environments.
