Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiovascular surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic procedures.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to surgical residents and junior staff.
- Oversee pre-operative planning and post-operative critical care management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary heart team meetings to determine optimal patient care pathways.
- Lead research initiatives and contribute to medical publications within the field.
- Ensure compliance with the highest standards of safety, ethics, and hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Medical License in good standing within the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7+ years of clinical experience in high-volume cardiac centers.
- Expertise in minimally invasive robotic-assisted cardiac surgery.
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing surgical teams.
- Published research in peer-reviewed cardiovascular journals preferred.
