Responsibilities
- Lead complex open-heart and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries.
- Direct multidisciplinary surgical teams in a high-acuity environment.

- Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to surgical residents and fellows.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and anesthesiologists for pre-operative planning.
- Lead departmental research initiatives and participate in clinical trials.
- Maintain excellence in patient documentation and post-operative recovery monitoring.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum 8-10 years of intensive experience in adult cardiac surgery.
- Proven track record in research publication and surgical innovation.
