Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality echocardiographic procedures, including 2D, M-mode, and color flow doppler.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff and sonography students.
- Maintain strict quality assurance standards and equipment calibration protocols.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret findings and ensure accurate reporting.
- Ensure a patient-centric environment by explaining procedures and alleviating patient anxiety.
- Manage daily lab workflow, scheduling, and urgent triage cases.
Qualifications
- Current ARDMS (RDCS) certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in echocardiography.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and stress echoes.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
