Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Analyze diagnostic images and provide preliminary findings for attending cardiologists.
- Ensure compliance with ICAEL accreditation standards and clinical protocols.
- Mentor and provide clinical oversight for diagnostic sonography students and junior staff.
- Maintain and troubleshoot high-end imaging equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care pathways.
- Document all procedures accurately within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Qualifications
- Current ARDMS certification (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or specialized cardiac setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proven ability to work independently with complex cardiac pathology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient and provider interaction.
- Strong technical aptitude with digital imaging systems and PACS integration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or a commitment to clinical excellence and education.
