Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development for commercial and mixed-use projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on BIM-integrated workflows
- Ensure compliance with NYC zoning laws and LEED certification standards
- Manage project budgets and client relationships from concept to completion
- Develop sustainable design strategies incorporating passive systems
- Mentor junior designers through technical reviews and design critiques
- Present design concepts to municipal review boards and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial architecture
- NYS Architect License (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating award-winning urban design projects
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and ADA requirements
- Experience leading projects exceeding $50M in construction value
