Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering) adhere to strict luxury standards.
  • Guest Experience: Act as the primary liaison for VIP guests and high-profile clients, ensuring their needs are anticipated and exceeded.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high-performing team through regular performance reviews and development programs.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the annual budget, forecast revenues, control operating costs, and produce accurate financial reports for executive leadership.
  • Vendor Relations: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality and value for hotel amenities and services.
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP/HSE) across the property and lead emergency response drills.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to enhance the resort's reputation and drive occupancy rates during peak seasons.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and driving high performance under pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Mandarin is highly preferred.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions during critical situations.
