Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the product development roadmap aligned with business goals and market trends.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of R&D professionals, chefs, and sensory analysts.
- Concept to Launch: Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring new launches are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.
- Innovation: Research emerging ingredients and technologies to create differentiated products that drive market share.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with FDA regulations and safety standards.
- Cost Management: Work closely with supply chain and operations to optimize production costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in food product development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing diverse teams and cross-functional projects.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of food safety, labeling laws, and sensory evaluation techniques.
