Our state-of-the-art R&D kitchen features hydroponic herb gardens, molecular gastronomy stations, and AI-assisted flavor profiling tools. You'll collaborate with mixologists, sommeliers, and food scientists to create multi-sensory dining experiences that push boundaries while honoring local heritage.
Responsibilities
- Lead seasonal menu development incorporating molecular gastronomy techniques and hyper-local ingredients
- Oversee sustainable sourcing initiatives with regional farmers and artisanal producers
- Mentor junior chefs through structured training programs and innovation workshops
- Conduct culinary trend analysis and implement data-driven menu optimization
- Develop proprietary recipes and intellectual property for global expansion
- Manage R&D budget and cross-functional partnerships with tech startups
- Represent the brand at international food festivals and industry panels
Qualifications
- 10+ years in high-end culinary leadership with 3+ years in R&D or innovation roles
- Advanced certification in molecular gastronomy or food science
- Proven track record of developing award-winning menus with sustainability focus
- Expertise in Singaporean/Malaysian cuisine with global culinary perspective
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting and cost optimization for premium dining
- Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin or Malay preferred
- Experience managing cross-cultural teams in luxury hospitality environments
