We are currently seeking a proactive Haulage Maintenance Executive to join our operations in Klang/Port Klang. Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of fleet maintenance, including scheduling, executing, and tracking repairs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks to minimize operational downtime.
- Coordinate effectively with external workshops and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date service records and logs for all company vehicles.
- Ensure strict adherence to all road safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and manage stock efficiently.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and liaise with technical teams to resolve problems swiftly.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in haulage or fleet maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy vehicle systems, diagnostics, and mechanical principles.
- Valid driving license (Class B or Class C) is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, mechanics, and management.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software or digital logging tools is an advantage.
