Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive global logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and maximize ROI.
- Oversee multi-modal transportation networks including maritime, drayage, and last-mile delivery.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and supply chain analysts.
- Manage strategic partnerships with steamship lines, customs brokers, and 3PL providers.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to monitor KPIs and drive continuous process improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and safety standards.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and service level agreements to optimize procurement costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in high-volume logistics or supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (MBA/Masters preferred).
- Proven track record of managing port-based operations and international freight forwarding.
- Expert proficiency with TMS, WMS, and enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or HighJump).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to solve complex operational challenges.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable.
