Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Analyze operational data to reduce fuel consumption and improve route efficiency.
- Manage a team of 5-10 dispatchers and drivers, conducting performance reviews and mentorship.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and manage vendor relationships for repairs.
- Implement new logistics software and telematics to track vehicle performance in real-time.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fleet management or logistics operations.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and reducing operational costs.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred, but strong managerial experience is essential.
- Proficiency in fleet management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
