Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fleet operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and route planning.
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance and repair services to ensure optimal vehicle health.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve delivery times.
- Ensure strict adherence to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and dispatchers.
- Prepare and manage the annual fleet budget.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in fleet management software (e.g., Fleetio, Samsara) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate reports.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
