Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of a diverse fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and route planning.
- Manage and maintain vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability and minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce operational costs.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of drivers and logistics staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Analyze performance data and logistics reports to identify areas for operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics coordination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety compliance, and fleet maintenance procedures.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for management roles.
- Proficiency in fleet management software (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
