Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with UK GAAP and internal financial regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants and finance staff.
- Manage the budgeting process and provide strategic forecasting insights.
- Conduct regular variance analysis to drive business performance.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar Financial Controller or Senior Accountant role.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage, Xero, or SAP) is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and corporate finance.
