Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, wellness visits, and preventive health screenings.
- Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespan.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and monitor treatment efficacy.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including labs, X-rays, and EKGs.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care strategies.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in primary care or family medicine preferred.
- Active DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
