Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations, wellness visits, and preventive health screenings.
  • Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespan.
  • Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and monitor treatment efficacy.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including labs, X-rays, and EKGs.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care strategies.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in primary care or family medicine preferred.
  • Active DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR).
