Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure all dishes meet our strict aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Develop and mentor a diverse team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff through hands-on leadership.
  • Collaborate on seasonal menu planning, sourcing local and sustainable ingredients.
  • Manage inventory, food costs, and waste reduction initiatives to hit financial targets.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
  • Coordinate closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain equipment performance and cleanliness through proactive scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an upscale or fine-dining kitchen environment.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role as a Sous Chef or similar capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of classic French and modern American culinary techniques.
  • Strong grasp of P&L management, food cost control, and supply chain logistics.
  • Current ServSafe Manager Certification required.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
