Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure exceptional food quality control.
- Develop and implement innovative seasonal menus alongside the Executive Chef.
- Train, mentor, and inspire culinary staff to maintain top-tier kitchen performance.
- Manage food costs and inventory through diligent procurement and waste reduction strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with strict health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain high morale and foster a professional, respectful kitchen culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
- Proven track record in team leadership and kitchen management.
- Deep understanding of modern cooking techniques and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under high-pressure scenarios.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification.
- Strong financial acumen regarding P&L management and food cost control.
- Commitment to sourcing local, sustainable ingredients.
