Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless service during high-volume periods.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and execute innovative seasonal menus.
- Maintain rigorous food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards across all stations.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse culinary team to foster a culture of excellence.
- Manage food cost optimization, inventory control, and vendor relationships.
- Develop standardized recipes and ensure consistent plate presentation.
- Coordinate with front-of-house management to elevate the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end, fine-dining environment.
- Proven track record in a leadership capacity (Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine).
- Deep understanding of global culinary techniques and flavor profiles.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Strong financial acumen regarding food costs, labor management, and P&L accountability.
- Demonstrated passion for mentorship and culinary education.
