As our Executive Sous Chef, you will collaborate directly with the Executive Chef to drive menu innovation, manage daily kitchen operations, and uphold our world-class standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food production, ensuring all dishes meet high aesthetic and quality standards.
- Develop and execute seasonal menu concepts and daily specials.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and procurement to maximize profitability.
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff in advanced culinary techniques.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless dining experiences.
- Optimize kitchen workflows to increase efficiency during peak service hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in high-end culinary environments, with 2+ in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in menu development and cost control management.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and labor cost optimization.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Culinary Arts degree or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification.
