Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage a high-performing brigade of 20+ culinarians.
- Develop innovative, seasonal menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Maintain rigorous food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP/ServSafe).
- Manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cost-control initiatives to maximize profitability.
- Supervise staff training, mentorship, and professional development programs.
- Execute complex catering and private event requirements with precision.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency across all service shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining kitchen environment.
- Proven track record in a Sous Chef or similar leadership capacity.
- Expert knowledge of modern culinary techniques, sourcing, and seasonal product handling.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, food costing, and labor scheduling.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead under pressure.
- Current ServSafe Manager certification required.
