You will work closely with our Executive Chef to mentor our brigade and curate seasonal menus that define modern gastronomy.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and direct the culinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with local health regulations.
- Collaborate on menu development, seasonal ingredient sourcing, and plate presentation.
- Manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and COGS to ensure profitability.
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior staff members to foster a culture of excellence.
- Execute high-volume service with precision and consistency.
- Ensure all workstations are set up to meet the highest standards of quality control.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end or fine-dining kitchen environment.
- Proven track record in a leadership role (Sous Chef or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food science, and flavor profiles.
- Strong understanding of food cost management, labor scheduling, and P&L accountability.
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a high-stakes setting.
- Current NYC Food Protection Certificate or ability to obtain one.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
