Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations and manage a diverse team of 25+ culinary professionals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu conceptualization and development.
- Maintain rigorous food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards across all stations.
- Optimize inventory management, food cost percentages, and vendor relationships.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure consistent execution of high-end culinary techniques.
- Monitor food preparation quality and presentation to uphold our Michelin-level standards.
- Oversee scheduling and labor costs to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine-dining or high-volume upscale environment.
- Formal culinary degree or certification from a reputable institute preferred.
- Proven expertise in modern culinary techniques and flavor profiling.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of P&L management, food costing, and kitchen profitability.
- Full proficiency in food safety regulations and health department compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills and a passion for leading high-performing teams.
