Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless execution.
- Guest Experience: Act as the key point of contact for VIP guests and resolve any complex issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and positive online reviews.
- Financial Management: Manage the annual budget, forecast revenue, control labor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work culture and conducting regular performance appraisals.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies and maximize occupancy rates during peak seasons.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental sustainability policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or executive capacity within a luxury 4-5 star property.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and MS Office suite.
- Languages: Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Malay is a plus.
- Attributes: Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
