Responsibilities
- Design and execute innovative seasonal menus aligned with culinary trends and local produce availability
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of 15+ culinary professionals
- Manage inventory, food costs, and vendor relationships with sustainable suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house to create seamless guest experiences
- Oversee kitchen operations during peak service hours
- Contribute to menu development for private events and wine pairings
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive culinary experience with 3+ years in Executive Chef role
- Classically trained with expertise in French and Californian cuisine
- Proven track record of managing high-volume, fine-dining establishments
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification required
- Strong leadership skills with ability to develop talent
- Advanced knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP)
- Exceptional organizational and financial management abilities
