Responsibilities
- End-to-End Event Lifecycle Management: Oversee the strategy, planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Vendor Management: Source, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with third-party vendors, including AV companies, caterers, and venues.
- Budget Control: Develop comprehensive event budgets, track expenses in real-time, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- On-Site Execution: Direct on-site operations during events, troubleshoot issues instantly, and ensure all stakeholders adhere to the timeline.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting proposals, managing expectations, and delivering post-event reports.
- Marketing Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing teams to align event themes with brand messaging and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management, preferably within the corporate or conference sector.
- Project Management: Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Smartsheet).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to C-suite executives and negotiate with vendors.
- Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with event registration software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) and CRM systems.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
