Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Lead environmental compliance initiatives including waste management, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple facilities
  • Manage hazardous materials documentation, permitting, and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety-by-design principles
  • Analyze EHS data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • OSHA 30-hour certification and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations, DOT hazmat compliance, and waste management
  • Strong proficiency with EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
