Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Coordinate regulatory reporting, permit renewals, and compliance documentation
- Deliver engaging safety training programs to employees at all organizational levels
- Manage hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS principles into operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (RCRA, CAA, TSCA)
- Proficient in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar platforms)
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing safety metrics and KPIs
- Excellent communication abilities with demonstrated training facilitation experience
