Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS programs aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Conduct workplace safety inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses
- Deliver engaging EHS training programs for employees across all operational levels
- Manage hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, and environmental compliance monitoring
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain accurate EHS documentation systems
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure business continuity planning
- Stay current with evolving EHS regulations and advise leadership on emerging risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and familiarity with ISO 14001 standards
- Proven expertise in developing safety protocols and environmental management systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication abilities for training diverse stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms and data visualization tools
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation preferred
