Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with regulatory standards
- Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across industrial sites
- Manage hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, and environmental monitoring programs
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and local safety regulations
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain accurate EHS documentation
- Advise leadership on emerging EHS trends and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CSP/CHRM credentials preferred
- Proficiency with EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and regulatory databases
- Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations
- Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional EHS initiatives
