Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees across all operational levels
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air emissions monitoring, and environmental reporting
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain crisis management protocols
- Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and waste management protocols
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Excellent communication abilities for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cultural change
- Valid driver's license with clean record for facility travel
