Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental compliance inspections across industrial sites
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and stormwater compliance programs
- Stay current on evolving EPA, TCEQ, and federal regulations to ensure organizational compliance
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain meticulous EHS documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Professional certification (CSP, CIH, or CHMM) preferred
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and Texas environmental codes
- Advanced proficiency in safety management software and data analytics tools
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence safety culture
- Excellent written communication for technical reports and training materials
