Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS policies aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead employee training programs on safety protocols, emergency response, and environmental compliance
- Manage hazardous material handling, waste disposal, and pollution prevention initiatives
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and prepare regulatory compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
- Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CSP/CHMM credentials preferred
- Proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex) and data analytics
- Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and TCEQ regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and regulatory deadlines
- Crisis management experience with environmental incidents
