Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular facility audits to identify environmental hazards and safety risks
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Manage regulatory compliance reporting for EPA, TCEQ, and other governing bodies
- Design and deliver employee safety training programs across industrial operations
- Oversee hazardous waste management and emergency response protocols
- Analyze environmental data to identify improvement opportunities and sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in industrial EHS compliance and program management
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP credentials preferred
- Proficiency with environmental monitoring equipment and safety software (e.g., Enviance, Cority)
- Strong knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations and safety standards
- Experience developing SPCC, Stormwater, and Air Quality permits
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation highly desirable
