Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS management systems across all facilities
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
- Conduct regular safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permit compliance
- Monitor workplace air quality and noise levels using calibrated equipment
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain crisis management protocols
- Prepare monthly EHS performance reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Cority, Enviance)
- Demonstrated expertise in developing safety management programs
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and waste management protocols
- Excellent communication skills for training diverse workforces
- OSHA VPP Star program experience highly desirable
