Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments for chemical handling and waste management
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective action plans
- Manage environmental permitting and regulatory reporting requirements
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Oversee hazardous waste disposal and spill response protocols
- Analyze air/water quality data and implement pollution control measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or energy industry
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP designation preferred
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, TCEQ, and DOT regulations
- Proficient in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Strong data analysis and incident investigation skills
- OSHA 500/501 trainer certification
