Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct routine facility audits and safety inspections to identify hazards and mitigate risks
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permit compliance
- Prepare regulatory reports for federal, state, and local agencies
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CHMM/CSP credentials
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enviance, Intelex)
- Proven experience with environmental impact assessments
- Strong knowledge of Texas environmental regulations (TCEQ)
- Excellent analytical skills and report writing abilities
