Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS management systems across all facilities
- Ensure compliance with federal/state environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ) and safety standards (OSHA)
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air/water permits, and spill prevention programs
- Conduct regular safety training and emergency response drills for 200+ employees
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and waste minimization
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain EHS documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years EHS management experience in manufacturing/industrial setting
- OSHA 30-hour and CSP/CHMM certifications strongly preferred
- Proven expertise in ISO 14001 and environmental compliance frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air Act)
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software experience (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Exceptional communication skills for training and regulatory negotiations
