Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct routine facility audits and industrial hygiene assessments to identify hazards
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permitting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives
- Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
