Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with data-driven corrective actions
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management protocols for industrial operations
- Manage hazardous waste programs, air/water permits, and regulatory compliance reporting
- Train 500+ employees on safety protocols, PPE usage, and environmental stewardship
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and waste minimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed EHS into operational workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation required
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA regulations
- Proven expertise in developing EHS management systems and KPI tracking
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software platforms
- Exceptional leadership abilities with cross-functional team management
- OSHA 30-hour and Incident Command System (ICS) certification
