Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementations
- Conduct regular facility audits and compliance assessments across multiple industrial sites
- Train 500+ employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and environmental stewardship
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and pollution control systems
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate EHS initiatives into corporate sustainability goals
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation for federal/state agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years progressive EHS management experience in manufacturing/energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential required
- Expertise in OSHA VPP, EPA RCRA, and TCEQ regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates by 40%+ through data-driven interventions
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation methodologies
- Excellent presentation skills for executive and cross-functional stakeholder communication
