Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and industry regulations
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to implement corrective/preventive actions
- Manage environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste management, and sustainability reporting
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and behavioral safety observations across facilities
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using KPIs and EHS metrics
- Mentor EHS team members and coordinate training programs for 500+ employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- Expert knowledge of OSHA 1910, EPA regulations, and ISO 14001/45001 standards
- Proven track record developing and implementing EHS management systems
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software (SAP EHS, Enablon, etc.)
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
