Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for federal/state environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ)
- Conduct facility risk assessments and industrial hygiene audits across 15+ sites
- Manage emergency response protocols and incident investigation root cause analysis
- Drive sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and carbon footprint tracking
- Mentor EHS team members and deliver safety training to 500+ employees
- Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and permitting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and Texas environmental codes
- Proven experience managing multi-site EHS programs with 100+ employee teams
- Expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action systems
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- OSHA 501 and HAZWOPER certifications preferred
