Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action planning, and preventive measures
- Conduct regular workplace audits, safety inspections, and compliance assessments
- Manage hazardous material handling, waste disposal, and emergency response protocols
- Train employees on safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain accurate EHS documentation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settingsCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and Texas state environmental codes
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing safety management systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Exceptional communication abilities for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
