Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits and safety training sessions for all personnel
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air/water quality monitoring, and environmental reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS best practices into operations
- Stay current on evolving environmental legislation and industry safety standards
- Prepare and maintain EHS documentation, including permits and compliance records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP designation preferred
- Proven expertise in developing EHS management systems (ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001)
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requirements
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence all organizational levels
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple facility sites
