Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across facilities
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective actions
- Manage hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, and environmental compliance reporting
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for all employee levels
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM certification required
- Expert knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ)
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Proven ability to lead safety culture transformation initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
