Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental reporting
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP/CSP credentials preferred
- Proven expertise in environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA)
- Advanced knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Excellent communication abilities for training stakeholders and reporting to leadership
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple facility sites
