Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental reporting
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
  • Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
  • OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP/CSP credentials preferred
  • Proven expertise in environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA)
  • Advanced knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment methodologies
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
  • Excellent communication abilities for training stakeholders and reporting to leadership
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple facility sites
